At EYDS the safety and wellbeing of our patients and employees is our absolute priority.
As a community, we must do our best to contain and delay the spread of COVID-19, by increasing use of social distancing and self-isolation.
Dentistry by its very nature involves close contact between patient and clinical teams. The rate of infection will continue to increase in the population as this pandemic progresses and the risks of further transmission increase exponentially. So we have decided to postpone elective procedures for the next 8 weeks, in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19, protecting patients and staff.
We will concentrate on emergency dental care, allowing us to help our patients stay healthy at a challenging time for the nation.
We will continue to regularly assess the developing situation and follow advice from BDA, CQC, FGDP and NHS Public Health England.
Looking after each other and putting people first will help us get through this pandemic. We all remain fully committed to your safety and wellbeing.
